Media library refuses to load

When trying to use the media library,it tells me that i need an internet connection.I have broadband so cannot understand why this message appears.Please forgive my ignorance if there is a simple answer to this problem.

You're trying to access one of the online features of the ML, I assume?

If you have a software firewall, make sure it is configured such that Winamp is allowed to access the internet.

Thanks for the tip,but I checked that.I have just downloaded winamp for the seventh time and it now appears to be working ok.Thanks again
