MaxUser ignored
I'm running a relay that has MaxUser configured to 512, which shows correctly
in the running status. However the server simply stops accepting connections at 248 concurrent listeners, which is happening quite often. Seeing i can't find any logical reason why this is happening, i must be configuring something wrong or hitting some other limit. I hope anyone can give me a pointer where to look. Upstream available: 100mbit Upstream used: 20 - 25mbit ( according to graphs ) Host: Sun 220r ( 2x US-II @ 450mhz, Solaris 9 ) |

might not be the shoutcast server,
check the max connections to the server itself |

Maybe an OS limitation per app. -- The other question I would have to ask is how do you know that the DNAS is not accepting any more than 248 connections? does it indicate anything in the log? or is that just how many listeners you are getting?
/* v2 HTML5 / Player test pages DigitalMixNYC, DigitalMixNYCbx | DNAS Status: Now Playing js codes (scaststatus_X.php) | PortForward.com | Upload/Download Speed Test | No-IP.com: Free Dynamic DNS | In the YP | dnasDir */ |

djSpinnerCee, you rang a bell here that was so obvious i cannot believe i looked over it. Default softlimit on sol9 is 256 file descriptors, which indeed makes sc_serv stop accepting connections around 248 ( as it runs out of filedescriptors).
I am not worthy..
