Thanks a bunch for the congrats. We've had the date set for a long time, but I just today finally got around to getting the ring.
No rocks this time, just a 4mm band, so it was under a grand, and it's something that'll last a lot longer than anything else I'd spend the money on. Don't forget to live before you die.

Denny's rocks. When you're on the road traveling across the country, nothing beats a Denny's breakfast each day. Grand Slams are the best thing to happen to breakfast since the invention of eggs.
Cracker Barrel is a great place for breakfast, too. I recommend the blackberry-topped french toast with whipped cream. Nummy nummy. I'm a psychosomatic sister running around without a leash. |

There's apparently only one fucking Cracker Barrel in West Virginia as well, 171 miles or a 3 hour drive away...

3 Cracker Barrel Drive, Barboursville, WV 25504 Which is odd, cause the store is next to Midland Trail road, there is no "Cracker Barrel Drive", at least not on the maps I've looked at. 75.2 mi (about 1 hour 32 mins). Better than 3 hours away, but still way too far for me to drive for a resturant. |

Shrek 3 Soundtrack (See: Shrek 3 Song Thread), Opera Browser for DS Lite (God I love that thing!) and a Philips CDR200 CD Recorder/Player for my Studio. I found it at a thrift store, for $13.00 (MSRP around $150ish). I'm going to hook it into an output of my mixer and can record parts of the show on the fly vs editing the parts I want in the podcasts.
Here's a pic of the 765 but it looks the same:
