Dialer and Proxy
Hi,
I have one question about using the Dialer through Proxy. So, this is the case: If I setup my computer to go on Internet through a Proxy Server, which first requires that I authenticate myself with a Username and Password, but I must not save them automatically, so I enter them every time I open IExplorer and want to browse the Internet. Now, if I use the dialer with : code: What will the Dialer tell me? That the Connection is online, offline, or will it ask me for a UserName and Password? Robert. |

You can try for yourself and see. It should tell you are online. It can't know if the proxy would require authentication or not.

Hi kichik,
well, If I had the means to try, I would of done that, without asking you here in the forum thank you for the answer.Anyway, I found a proxy with pass, and tried it, and for the ones interested, the answer is yes, the Dialer checks if the computer is connected correcttly. Best regards, Robert Mileski |
