Shoutcast cant keep up the stream
My shoutcast video and audio stream cant keep up when the bitrate goes above apx. 300kbit
The server only allows ONE user and has 10Mbit/down - 4Mbit/Up - So theres more than enough bandwidth for it. I tryed to stream to disk to see if the CPU overloads, but the streamdata is perfect and does not drop frames ect. So Im a bit confused when the stream keeps needing to buffer and generally acts like an old modem. Im using WindowsXP Pro, both for encoding and streaming. |

So it's just "tuff luck" that some of us are windows users? . I also tryed streaming on my LAN it still drops the buffer at 350 Kbit, pretty lame

I had a problem like this once too, I used VP62 and MP3, and it always had buffering, even on LAN(Not playing locally)
But all other combinations didn't have this problem =/ Dunno if this was the problem for you though =P CROSS PLATFORM C++ NSV Library | NSV Demuxer | NSV Muxer: On SourceForge.net HERE! NSV_Vp61_Vp62 NSV_X264 NSV X264 vfw version (Decoder AND Encoder)(Mirror) NEW: Wildex999's blog & NSV tutorials |
