DNAS stats page says up and private with VDJ
Hey my DNAS stats page says my stream is up and private whenever my DJ uses VDJ.
He cant figure out how to set it to not be private. Does anyone out there use VDJ? How can i tell him to fix this? |

Mine says it is private too, but there are no problems with people listening. I always thought it had something to do with the settings I used to specify the incoming IP for the encoder on my private LAN. But the output is set for any and no one seems to have problems listening, so maybe it's not really a problem for you. Or I'm not understanding what the "private" portion means.
Your mileage may vary! |

Private to the DNAS means that it will not perforam yp-* trasactions with the SHOUTcast directory.
A station that's private is not listed in the YP. That's all. It does not mean that listeners from anywhere cannot tune in. /* v2 HTML5 / Player test pages DigitalMixNYC, DigitalMixNYCbx | DNAS Status: Now Playing js codes (scaststatus_X.php) | PortForward.com | Upload/Download Speed Test | No-IP.com: Free Dynamic DNS | In the YP | dnasDir */ |
