Ok, i'm new to this so don't shoot me for my stupidity. Can Winamp/Shoutcast convert CD tracks to MP3 on the fly during broadcast, or do they have to be converted prior to broadcast? If it is possible to do on the fly, how do I do it? I thought the purpose of installing the codec was to be able to convert into MP3. But when I try to broadcast a CD track directly it's a no go.
any help would be appreciated. THanks, Image |

The Default CD plugin for Winamp does not process CD Data, it just makes Winamp a controller for your CD ROM drive, to process data, go to the input plug-ins section and download and install the CD Reader Plug-in.
Make sure you disable the old Cd Plugin KXRM www.shoutclub.com |
