PLZ HELP ME!

Why when i try to play something on shoutcast it comes up with "Sorry,no writing support for shoutcast streams due to copyright issues"?

I'm with you. I'm lost. I get this error for every single SHOUTcast and cannot find info on it in the FAQ or the Forums...

Anyone make a suggestion?

The error reads:

"SHOUTcast Error"

"Sorry, no .wav file writing is allowed for SHOUTcast broadcasts due to copyright issues."

HUH!?!?

I cannot find any option to turn that off and the music won't play.

Make sure in your winamp player that you are using a STANDARD output plug-in, such as:
Nullsoft WaveOut plugin 2.02 or greater.

Chances are this is the problem, since Nullsoft don't like you saving any recordings, and if you use a third party output plug-in that might cause this error.
