My Wish Came True!!!! Thank You Winamp!
Thank you guys, earlier this year I posted for help. I work in radio broadcast and prefer layer 2 audio to layer 3 - and was looking for a single step rip solution to mp2 using my QDesign mp2 codec with proper Gracenote Tags - without me having to bulk rename the file suffixes etc. etc...
Since Winamp updated the wav ripper, the filename suffix box works properly (every file used to come out .wav even if you typed in something else) - and by changing the in_mp3 plugin to write non-unicode tags, I've now got perfect .mp2 audio files @ 384k which sound transparent across any embedded hardware links. ...and with real embedded Gracenote tags!!! Thank you!!! Goodbye CDex, Hello Winamp! |
