To keep my mike silent I click on the volume control panel found in:
start programs accessories and then entertainment. Click the box to mute the mike. Maybe it's not the exact way to go, but it works for me! good luck! |

I was testing my new set up last night and ran into the same problem. It occured when i selected "advanced" mode. When I pressed "Talk" I would hear the music fade out and the mic fade in. However, when listening to the server stream only the mic is heard...and it was on all the time. The fade seemed to not have an effect. Wish I knew how to fix this. Seems like the perfect feature to allow a live DJ to announce between songs.

OK. I have exactly the same problem. BUT, if i mute my mic, then the listener heard nothing.
It works fine if i don't have advanced mode, but a show is boring with no talking, and i need advanced more to talk. It's GAY ! lol |

I've got the same problem ...
so : i don't use anymore this bugged "advanced options" ... I use the input plug-in LINEREC ... and i must switch between the mike stream, and the mp3 stream ... but with this system : i can't speak over the mp3 stream ... :-( i'd like to know where is the troubble !? (i've heard that was a soundcard problem, but i don't believe it) pII-300 / SB64awe / live365.com manella manatlan@manella.com www.manella.com |
