Help - Live Input (urgent)

Hi im trying to get live input from my soundcard working - i have tried liverec://, and am using winamp and shoutcast server. Ive also tried it with live365.
The problem: it says on winamp source connected but no stream is being submitted??
No-one can hear my voice - Im doing a live broadcast of a local footy match next week and need to get this working properly!

I plugged the mic into linein of the soundcard - but why can my listeners not hear anything?? When i have music it streams ok? but my voice doesnt work on its own???

Any suggestions?

Hey, in win amp go to Options/Preferences then where you select ShoutCast as your DSP Plugin click configure and look at the Advanced Mode feature. Think that will solve your problem.

Ok i got it - it wasnt that but thanks for ur reply - it was my soundcard settings.

I needed to goto my sound card settings and under the record section i had to click line-in to be accepted for recording . My sound card is an SB 128.
