Ok so a couple questions actually. One is how the hell do you make it stop asking for index.html and admin.cgi?

The second is, how come its disconnecting me? It has a source..

I never used to have these problems, sigh..

I also hate the fact that sc 1.666 takes 100% of CPU usage.. whats the point in that?

The 100% CPU usage is a bug and being fix.

I'm not sure you can turn off the admin and index.html. if you can it'd be in the config file somewhere.. just turn it off. (although i'm not sure why you'd want that feature off)

as far as getting disconnected. are you using WinAmp 2.63? If so, go back to 2.62 and that will solve the problem.

I'd like to know when this CPU bug will be fixed or when the next release date is for the server. Does anyone have a clue?

nah chango, you're not missing it. it's done automatically through the shoutcast server script. in your browser, type your SHOUTcast server IP and then put index.html after it and you'll see some cool stuff

my server is 24.94.168.117:420 so i put:
http://24.94.168.117:420/index.html

the admin.cgi is what you'll bring up after you login to the administrator mode from the index.html page.

These things show up in the log from the DSP updating title / URL info (admin) and requesting the current listener count (index).

I might toss something in the next DSP so they don't show up.

No you dont have a source.... are you trying to stream a CD or AN MP3-File???
Try an MP-3 File from a hard drive. Just because winamp is playing something doesn't
mean that the server is getting data that it understands. If you are trying to stream a cd things get a little more complicated. You must enter advanced recording mode. I don't see even one answer to your question here. I worked with this thing for a week and hardly ever recieved any useful help so I Presume many others have had the same problem. Maybe winamp could get a little better documentation. You get connected to the server fine and it gets a little data.
but only waits 30s for audio data and then logs you off. I bet you are trying to play a CD. Try ripping a song to an MP-3 file and then pulling the file up in winamp and playing it and then sending the file. A good indicator that something is wrong is when you hit connect on the DSP Shoutcast plug in within a few seconds it should start counting Bytes sent If it doesent your not sending. Good Luck
