When I download the server, the file SC_SERV.EXE is the only one not extracted. Is this because it's a new version? What do I need to do after the download to get access to it?

Have pity on me!

ummm.. their is no sc_serv.exe in the compressed installation, Tom threw me for a loop, it's actually now called sc_serv_gui.exe or sc_serv_con.exe depending on whether you want to use the console or the GUI version, then after it is installed you have to start it like so

C:\path\to\shoutcast\sc_serv_gui.exe "C:\path\to\shoutcast\sc_serv.ini"

or you could just change the name of the ini file to sc_serv_gui.ini, that may make it simpler or not.
