Volume Problems
We are using winamp and shoutcast to stream mp3's and radio stations to our customers phone systems. it works VERY good, except for a problem with volume.
We find the volume to be too loud and unfortunately there is is not a way to turn down the volume on the phone system. Winamp and shoutcast are running on a dell server so there is no sound card. For output i'm using the null output plugin. it streams really well, we just need to turn the volume down. Any ideas? |

Turn the volume down in Winamp. Little slider.

Open winamp's equalizer and use "preamp" slider for volume.
Don't forget to press the 'on' button on equalizer window :-) |
