I can't speak

I'm pretty sure I've got a compatible sound card. I was speaking yesturday and everyone could hear me(I got shoutcast yesturday). This morning I tried and my friends said when I tried to speak it was dead air. My soundcard is a TurleBeach Montego 1. Any idea on how I can begin to speak again?

one more thing to add... I tried that Line Recording thing. And it said sounddev error. I don't know what that means. So....?

you may have to re-install your soundcard it's happened to me a few time it's a pain in the butt and all but it all you can do that I can think of!!!!!!!!!!1
