Support for Microsoft Media Remote/eHome Receiver

This seems to be a rather desired feature that so far the community has failed to deliver on. All the plugins so far for this have been either incomplete or terrible. The Igor plugin is great if you plan on building your own receiver, but for the rest of us we are out in the cold. The Generic IR receiver plugin is less than ideal because it requires an old version of WinDVD.

The Green Button's solution seems rather difficult.

Ability to control Winamp regardless of program focus would be great.

It would be nice to have the jump feature implemented so that I could 'type' my selection with the remote (like MCE 2005), but support for even simple minimal controls like pause/play, skip, and stop would be acceptable.

Please Nullsoft, I can't really stand any other program for enjoying my music at my PC. I don't think I'm the only one either.

EDIT: Didn't see this thread that was already in the Wishlist section:

Still, I think my thread is a bit more descriptive.
