auto-gain normalising

Hi i play some video files with winamp to a screen with a projector.
But the files have a different volume-setting. Is there a way to play them all at the same volume?

the name of the filter to do this is compressor, so you need a compressor for Winamp:

- a selection from the plugins section: http://www.winamp.com/plugins/search/?q=compressor & http://www.winamp.com/plugins/search/?q=normalizer
- Stereo Tool: http://www.hansvanzutphen.com/stereo_tool/
- DSP Compwide: http://mpesch3.de1.cc/dsp_compwide14.zip

note: all this effects act in real time; this is because your request is about video files (many video format don't support ReplayGain); ReplayGain is the choice for the audio formats (all the major audio formats support it)
