I'm not even in advanced mode and my friend can still hear me. My mic is built into my computer and I've tried everything. I even downloaded a demo from here to show how to fix it, but mine was a bit different but I tried doing what I could and it won't work. How do solve this problem. I have no clue what type of sound card I have. But if I'm not in advanced mode they shouldn't be able to hear me, should they? PLEASE HELP FAST! I'm so frustrated.

Ok I figured out what kind of sound card I have.
It's an ESS soundcard. So does this mean I cannot broadcast? |

I'm not sure I understand.
At one point you say '... I'm not even in advanced mode and my friend can still hear me.'. Then you wonder if you can broadcast. Can your friend hear you or not .. and if so then aren't you broadcasting? DSig |
