Windows 2000 Server: When I try to configure the mp3 format in the DSP plugin Shoutcast Source dialog, it gives me an error telling me there is no codec installed. I know the codec is installed, and it is listed in Audio Codecs in the control panel.
Any suggestions? |

Just click on 'EDIT' and when the requestor comes up saying that an MP3 decoder is not installed - click 'OK'... Repeate this process untill it finaly detects the MP3 codec.
Dont ask me why sometimes it finds one installed and sometimes it doesn't -- but I found this method to work just fine. (you may have to repeat it up to 10 times for it to let you in) id242 |

I am having the same problem with Win2K Server. The codec shows up in control panel, but the DSP plugin gives me an error that a codec is not installed. I tried the clicking edit several times as recommended in the previous reply, but it doesn't help.
