Can connect to the stream locally on several different machines all at the same time. My problem is my mp3 server is not the gateway computer to the internet ! It's using intranet ip#'s and therefore can not be accessed via the internet !! Running a cable modem with dhcp from the ISP provider. Looking for a workaround so my stream can be accessed from the internet.

You're probably running a router/hub of some sort. It should be possible to open it up so your server can be accessed from the outside world. I use the Edge router (http://edge.fireplug.net/) running on an old 486. Linksys (http://www.linksys.com/) also makes a combination router/hub/firewall for about $180.00.

SKI... did you work out your cable modem/DHCP woes? I have the same config here, but haven't dove into the SHOUTcast yet.. waiting to see whats possible. I also have an outside NT host, but I can't install software to it of course... bummer... if only!
Thanks
Bob

Bob I was able to get the broadcast server up and running in the LAN with a few nifty software programs to reroute and port map to intranet ip numbers.
