OK, lemme start out by saying, I'm NOT newbie...I used to broadcast back with OLDER versions of Shoutcast and it worked for me...but for some reason when I try to set it up now, it just won't connect to the host!
I've set EVERYTHING up correctly and I can even make screen shots for you guys.
OK, lemme just run through everything I've done so far. Set up server:
localhost (this should automatically list it as with my IP correct?)
port: 8000
All the server information is set up...I'm listing it on Shoutcast.com
Song Title and URL I have greyed out, becuase I have Auto checked
Gonna run it at @24kbps 11kHz just to start, cuz I'm on cable

Now when I hit connect it does this:
"Connecting to host"
"Error connecting to host"

But am I not the host?? So why the hell would it need to connect?

Will someone please help a dying soul?
