OK, here's a question.
I've heard it's possible to broadcast your radio stuff, but have the server on another machine, say a friend's T3 connection. The brooadcast can go through their server before returning to the listeners. Is this possible and if so how? |

Sure, that's possible. Many people do it. I believe they Telnet to a Unix Shell account and launch everything from there. Real easy.

Okay, for the pinguin impaired, telnet is a program to connect from one machine to another and do stuff there. If you use Witzdows, you already have a telnet proggy, just type start/run, then type telnet and hit OK. Rest is pretty much self-explanatory. Have fun!

thats easy, just set the Server up on your friends machine. Then load up the shoutcst DSP plugin on your computer, set the server to your friends machines IP, and then play away on your computer. People that want to listen can connect to your friend's computer
