howdy pholks.. I just set up a server yesterday.. and while i dont really know what i am doing, i did get it to work.. A few things I cannot figure out are how to edit my information and have it added to the list of servers.. like my genre and the title of the server and all.. one other thing.. i tried to edit the ini file, changing my maximum number of users from 32 to 12.. and i did it and saved it, but then when i restarted the server.. it still said usermax=32.. any help would be highly appreciated.. thanx and peace..

your genre and title will be in the DSP source window (the one that pops up with winamp when you installed teh DSP plugin). Click the EDIT button and it'll take you to the title and genre edits.

which file are you editing?

To make sure the changes you make to the ini file are saved you need to make sure the server exe file and the ini file are the EXACT same name. They should be called:
sc serv.exe and sc serv.ini

This should fix the problem with saving
