Show the comments from ID3-Tag inside Bento?

Hello!

I've been using Winamp 5.5 for a while now and I really like the new Bento-GUI very much!

I have just one question: since I've got a large monitor with enough screen space it would be useful for me to display the ID3-comments of a file whenever I select a song in media library (or at least when I start playing the song).

I've already customized the columns in the Media Library so that I see the comments beside each file. But since the comments tend to be very long I wanted to know if there is any way at all to display the Comments field of the ID3-Tag in full length?

Possible places would be inside the Multi Content View or in a seperate window inside the Media Library. I already tried some plugins that sounded promising but apparently they didn't really work to well with Winamp 5.5...

I would be really glad if anybody could help me out here. Thanks in advance!

There is really not enough place there to display the comments in full length. But I dont know if they didnt put the comments in there for a reason...

Anyway, if you realy need the comments id3 tag you can go 3rd party and check "Winamp Azenis 2"(see link below). This have multiline comments. Pretty cool, even if I have to say it myself ;P

Thanks for your reply, the skin looks good! But I can't find the place where I can see the comments tag in a multiline layout. When I enable "ID3 Tags" in the bottommost window I only see one long line of comments.

Could you maybe help me out here?

Only id3v2 tags can be multiline...

But I just discovered a bug... to get rid of the bug you must click the button in that gadget and deselect "Hide tags with no info"

Will fix it... found a new function that will take care of this.

While you are fixing that "bug" by applying the function you mentioned, can you also allow for Winamp to save the settings when closing your skin in a maximized state so that Winamp reopens it in a maximized state? Right now it does not do so.

btw... that a great SUI skin you developed!
