Questions concerning Advanced Mode

Gosh I hope there's a search function here. I have no idea if my question was posted amongst these hundreds of postings. --;

Anyway about my question...
I'm using the Advanced Mode to boadcast using the winamp but I keep getting this error message saying "error opening sounddev" when i try playing the "linerec://" .. what's wrong? the "linerec://" seems to work fine, exept that the typical windows error sound is broadcasted along with my voice.. that's very annoying. -.- Can someone help?

Advanced mode is working as advertised. (Whoa, one of the few to get it working. {grin} ) You must be carefull while using adv. mode to turn off your systems sounds. Everything you hear from your computer, your audience hears also. It sounds like some other program is trying to use the soundcard and is getting pissed because Winamp is hogging it.
