How to get shoutcast working?

Dear all,

first of all I wanna say that I used search feature but I didn't get the results I was looking for.

I read some faq's and readme's and so on, too.

I just want to know how to set up shoutcast as server and how to configure it so that it works.

I already uploaded and installed sc_serv on my server.
I started it in ssh mode and there was no error message or something.
Then I tried to connect to server with winamp - it worked, too (bytes were submitted) But if I start winamp on another computer to be a listener, the message "ICY 401 Can't connect to serveriport"

My winamp has right configuration and plugins, because it already worked with another server, but now I want to set up a server by myself so what is wrong?
I read something about sc_trans. Is it needed, too for setting up a server?

if you are streaming to the server from winamp you do not need sc trans,

are there any errors in the logs?

post an ip / port so we can look and see for ourselves

From the log posted a source was never connected, however tune-in attempts were made so the DNAS will give a 401 Service Unavailable. I can see your DNAS page so there doesn't appear to be anything blocking the DNAS. Try connecting a source again then use the link at: http://85.25.150.217:8000
