How safe is my server?

I have a Dell stream server at home running Windows XP Professional and the latest Shoutcast version.
I was just wondering how safe my server is.

Is a firewall and virus scanner enough and, how big is the risk of being hacked?

As of right now, there are no know exploits with the SHOUTcast server. Now the security of the rest of the system is up to you, but any issues won't be SHOUTcast's fault.

Agreed. If you run behind a hardware firewall (linksys, netgear etc) and poke holes only for required apps, you're usually in very good shape.

Agreed. Because my server does not have anything else on it besides music, which I mirror with NAS on a weekly basis, I don't put too much on my boxes in terms of protection.
