What format are the movies? Container format, video format, audio format? See the Tech Support FAQ sticky for the info we will need.

Having looked for myself at one trailer on the website, I will assume that they are AVC in a Matroska container. I would suggest you install CCCP unless you already have a Matroska splitter and FFDShow or another AVC decoder installed.

Once you have configured your DirectShow filters then you need to add mkv to the list of extensions in the DirectShow Decoder config. Open Prefs -> Plug-ins -> Input -> Configure the Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder [in_dshow.dll]

[EDIT] Hello Nunzio.

Well, we can't help you if you don't give us any info. Exactly what TYPES of video/movie files did you download with the Azureus Vze bit torrent client?
  1. What TYPES of videos are they?
  2. What are the exact 3 or 4 character file extensions of these video files?
  3. What does GSpot show these files to be? Refer to this screenshot for instructions on using GSpot in case you require a missing codec for these files.

[EDIT]
Hi J_Darnley
We posted at the same time but I never spent the time to discover that they are MKV files as you did.

AIV? No such format.
I'm sure you meant to say AVI. Right?
So, they are not MKV files after all.

Anyway, the procedure is still the same as J_Darnley indicated above...

Open Winamp preferences and make sure that AVI is a listed extension in the DirectShow Decoder...

Ctrl+P for Winamp Preferences > Plugins > Input

In the right pane, highlight/select Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder (in_dshow.dll) and click the "Configure" button.

In the next window that pops up, under where is says "Extension list (semicolon deliminated)", make absolutely certain that AVI is listed there. If it's not, then add it.

The default list is: MPG;MPEG;M2V;AVI
Mine personally reads: MPG;MPEG;M2V;AVI;FLV;M4V

But in either case above, AVI is included. Make sure it's included in your Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder config too.

Now the above should work providing that you did not UNcheck video support during Winamp FULL setup (not Winamp Lite - no video support at all, as you can see when viewing the Winamp Releases features list)
