the hosts should have told you the login information and where they installed the server. |

they send me this:
To start the shoutcast, you just have to give the following commands on the shell: cd /root/shoutcast/ ./sc_serv sc_serv.conf We can start the shoutcast on the server without any problem. No server at this address and i imagine it needs starting,
http://75.126.196.162:8000 http://forums.winamp.com/showthread...791#post2283791 you need to ssh into the box with something like putty using your ip to login with your user name and password and start the server by following the links given above |

If your server company dosnt support shoutcast you should probubly find one who dose. Cause if you start streaming and sucking up there bandwidth there probubly not going to be happy. But yah if you dont have ssh access there going to have to do everyting for you and all they have to do is going into where they installed the files and put in the
./sc_serv sc_serv.conf and it will start up and then you can go to http://75.126.196.162:8000 and youll see the dnas page. Thats your only option. Next time find a real shoutcast host. Im sure nick@ss and I could both "help" you out with that...lol |
