Suggestion: Solution to dead / moved streams in bookmarks

I've bookmarked a lot of streams, but when time passes a lot of those stream url's get invalid: the stream url has changed. So i have to search for the stream again, bookmark it again and delete the old stream url.

This can be frustration when you have a lot of streams bookmarked. I think i've got a solution.

The current streamlink is a pls file with couple of url's and alternative url's to the stream source. When I enter this streamlink to play, one of the stream url's is selected and played. When I click bookmark item, only the selected stream url is bookmarked. This one url could die in time.

Why not let Winamp bookmark some dynamic file (from shoutcast.com) which retreives all current working url's for the selected stream? So when I select a bookmarked stream to play, Winamp retreives the currently active url's for the stream and it always returns valid/working stream url's and no dead url's to play (unless the stream is really dead offcourse)

What about it?
