Help with mac shoutcast server

so i get the shoutcast server running

Event log:

and i try and connect with nicecast to my ip
71.1.170.249:8000
and i cant

i checked

while server was running and got

Reason Given: Connection refused
More about this error: This essentially means that the port is open to the internet but has no services associated with it. There is no firewall protection on this port.

help please

The error message said it all. Connection refused is normally ICMP port unreachable (see RFC 1812)

It means the machines is up and nothing is listening on that port.

Your port forwarding is probably messed up.

Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway.
