Milkdrop 2 or AVS?
Just a stupid little thread to see how users choose between these two
![]() If you dont use anyone of the two.. just give a vote for the one you like best
ClassicPro© v2.01 : This plugin allows you to use cPro skins in Winamp. ClassicPro skins are all SUI skins and loads very quickly. ClassicPro skins is even easier to skin than Winamp Classic skins. A new layout have been added since version 2. |

Where is the "Both" option? I use MD2 in full screen when I am sitting away from my PC doing other things, but the rest of the time, I use AVS in a small, always-on-to window.
I actually like AVS more, because every time I install Winamp, it replaces the default ratings for the MD2 presets, but for AVS, my favourite presets are always there, sitting in my favourites folder. Actually, I should do that with MD2's presets too. *mumbles to self about stupidity* *goes off to carry out idea* ![]() #winamp on irc.tehflap.org — Winamp ATF Reference I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER? — My cPro timer widget Do NOT email me with tech support questions. |

Both have their strengths. Milkdrop is great for fullscreen and as said before, is very fluid. I can't get enough of AVS' effects, though. If it performed well at higher resolutions, I would always use it. Definitely a tossup.

Most of the time it's Milkdrop 2 for me...it's soothing.
