Reverse Visualization Music Creation
In countless ways, we can create visualizations from music.
How about now, we try to create music from visualizations using inverse algorithms or however it works. Simply put, Use a base non-vocal song and webcam input to create a new song entirely. The new song would be generated by movements from the webcam... Is this possible? |

haha, i like the idea but i think it's impossible because the only pattern you have in flowing images are the fps.colour, shape and brightness change in a non-algorithmical way in webcam signals or any other material shooted in the real world => no usable informations
you may hear a little noise but nothing that would come close to any piece of music (free jazz maybe )as for visualizations of music: the colour of the visualizations are not influenced by the song, so there would be a beat maybe but the melody would be that random, that you couldn't figure out a song or something like that |
