.m3u playlist number memory

Hello. One thing that I feel that has been lacking in the winamp playlist has been missing has been the a memory of the last track played in the .M3U or .PLS file itself. So this would be awesome for instance if on my jump drive I have my winamp running at home with my favcollection.m3u for example and when I close winamp and take my jumpdrive to work and open favcollection.m3u at work it picks up on the track and the time spot when I closed winamp. Or another great reason is your listing to you music or educational stuff and your browsing through your stuff and you accidentally open an mp3 and then it closes out your current playlist and opens the one MP3 from that point all you would need to do is open back up the .M3U file and it would be all back on track.

I tried searching for a plug-in like this but didn't seem to openly find that functionality so if there is please feel free to shout out or give an opinion or some extended features along these line that I havent thought of.
