im having trouble w/ the voice overlay w/ the Advanced mode.. my mixer sliders dont do anything when i push talk and when i do, the music cuts completely out and my voice takes over.. can my sound card do this?

I'd say it's unlikely a SoundBlaster 64 card will work with advanced mode, the thing is kind of finicky about which cards it will work with. Your best bet would be to get your hands on an Aureal Vortex card, but there's a slim chance your SB card will work if you get the latest drivers for it.
