I'm a frequent shoutcast listener, but all of a sudden yesterday none of the stations listed on shoutcast.com worked. Whenever I click on "tune in" for any of the stations it tries to connect to "http://28510". Interestingly, when I went to the Tag's Trance Trip web page and clicked on one of their links to listen, there was no problem. Why is this happening?

They changed the format for the .pls files and it isn't compatible with SoundJam and probably other players. It only affects clustered stations.
For example, the playlist now looks like this: numberofentries=4 File1=http://209.11.133.98:8002 Title1=(#1 - 77/1324) WOLF FM - The hottest mix of the 70s, 80s and today! Length1=-1 File2=http://205.188.245.132:8012 Title2=(#2 - 58/300) WOLF FM - The hottest mix of the 70s, 80s and today! Length2=-1 File3=http://205.188.245.131:8012 Title3=(#3 - 87/300) WOLF FM - The hottest mix of the 70s, 80s and today! Length3=-1 File4=http://209.133.121.167:8028 Title4=(#4 - 374/500) WOLF FM - The hottest mix of the 70s, 80s and today! Length4=-1 Version=2 And it used to look like this: NumberOfEntries=1 File1=http://somafm.com:8002/ |
