Hello,

I am running a windows 2003 server... And I am trying broadcast my shoutcast in windows media player... I am stuck on inputting my publishing point information... Can someone please help me. I have provided a picture below on the step that I am stuck on.. I don't get what I am suppose to put in the encoder part. where it says http://ENCODER

I have tried to put my ip address but it doesn't seem to want to work either...

That is Windows Media Encoder and not SHOUTcast, two totally diffrent things. There is no such thing as a SHOUTcast encoder for Windows Media Player.

The exact same you you broadcast to Winamp, iTunes and other media player listeners. Here's some handy tutorials

once you have your shoutcast server running you can use a little web trickery with what is called an ASX file and open windows media player.

looking at your image you have the server installed all you need now is the winamp player and the dsp.
