dsp plugin down, so server off

Hi, ive seen some technical issues that id like to solve somehow:

1. When machine sending stream to the server is down and a new client wants to connect, it cant connect, it would be nice to connect and get the backup file at least.

2. When connected to backup file and server get back on again, clients dot receive the stream, they keep receiving the backup file until they try to connect again.

3. Some times the computer sending the stream to the server have crashed, but the connection is still on, so the server cant detect there is no music, (only if connection is broken) would it be nice to detect if level is too low after a while to activate back up file

I love shoutcast over QTSS

Best guys and keep on with this, there would be nice to have a "PRO" version for winamp no matter if one have to pay for it.

regards

Killabyte

Everything you ask for cannot be done. shoutcast unfortunately isn't that complex

The back up file will only play to the connected listeners,

you my be better looking for a backup server for when the source drops so it can auto connect and continue playing your music,

we do offer a system like this aswell as many other hosts.
http://www.streamsolutions.co.uk/index.php?page=cds

if you want winamp pro you can purchase it here,
https://store.winamp.com/dr/v2/ec_MA...45&pid=1241179

but i suspect you are looing for a pro shoutcast server of somesort
