Problems Steaming Audio from NAS

When using the newer versions of Winamp, I have problems playing MP3s from my Network Attached Storage. During the first minute of starting a song, the song cuts in and out. After the first minute is up, it plays the MP3 just fine. I've tried versions 5.53 and 5.54. I was previously using 5.32 and had no playback problems. I have no problems when using MediaMonkey or Windows Media Player. I've had the same problem with the newer versions whether using Vista or XP. I am wired to the network and so is my NAS.

Is there some setting in the new versions of Winamp that I need to adjust to stop this from happening? I'd really love to use Winamp instead of the other players.

Thanks!!

UPnP

Hey There.

I have the same problem with my 1TB LaCie Network Space. Windows Media Player connects trough UPnP, so tried a plugin for winamp that makes winamp Support UPnP and it solves the problem..

Try On2Share Pro if your device has build in UPnP
