Ya don't If there is no third-party plugin, then it won't play. If you have the proper windows codecs installed, try adding it to DirectShow
Preferences > Plugins > Input > Double Click "Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder..." Add ;g721 to the end. | Brought to you by ^V ^C | The one... the original... no seriously! |

Have you tried adding G721 to the extra extensions list in in_wave config instead?
(be sure to remove it from in_dshow config first) in_wave (Nullsoft Waveform Decoder) uses the libsndfile library for decoding, which is supposed to support G.721 ADPCM/CCITT according to here: http://www.mega-nerd.com/libsndfile/ You could also try renaming them from *.g721 to *.wav maybe...? The default Windows XP/Vista Waveform Decoder should be able to decode G.721. Other than that, see if you can get them converted to e.g. wav with some free converter app such as this one: http://pcwin.com/Audio/SC_Free_Audio...rter/index.htm |
