Replay gain questions.

Hi all!

1.How to automatically calculate raplay gain when file add in ML?

2.when save track data in raplay gain window,value save in media file or ML database?

3.for a equal sound use "apply gain" or "normalize" option?

4.What is auto-tag?!!!

1. Not possible, you can just automatically calculate RG for ripped CDs

2. The infos will be directly stored in the files. Eg. in ID3 tags for MP3 files or Vorbis comments for Ogg Vorbis/FLAC files

3. "Apply Gain / Prevent Clipping" should be the best option in my eyes.

4. Auto-tagger will analyze your file(s) and download title infos from the gracenote database. It will then write the result as metadata in the files.

"Auto-tag use gracenote" --> this mean before using Auto-tag, I must scan database with playlist generator?

No, the auto-tagger is independent from the Playlist generator.
