Top rated songs list GONE, and Media Library reset itself
I am running Winamp 5.541 on Windows XP SP2 with the Bento Skin.
Literally a minute ago I noticed that all the songs I've been collecting for MONTHS in the "top rated" category are GONE ![]() They just disappeared... and along with them also all the played song statistics and everything else! It's like winamp Media Library just reset itself! I didn't do anything at all that might have caused this to happen... I'm extremely surprised! Can anyone please help me understand what the hell happened? And more importantly, how can I get my top rated songs back?? (If at all..) Thanks! |

if the library reset itself, your data is likely gone. most of the data is stored in main.dat and there arent duplicates that are recoverable. Sorry.
I'd recommend sending all of your top rated songs to playlists in the media library, as playlists are seperate files and harder to delete.

Yeah but why was it reset all of a sudden?!
And are you sure there's no way to get it back? ![]() Also, why doesn't any of the developers or official staff respond? |
