Unable to delete songs on Ipod

I have a problem with my 8gb ipod nano.

I have 1 album that shows up on the winamp window, on the ipod but the files are not there. All it does is it tries to play, 0:00 for 30seconds then moves to the next song. I tried to delete it with winamp, it asks if you want to delete, it has the delete go through everything should be successful but it is still there once I refresh it. I've looked in the ipod control/music folder for it and the files are not there physically. The files are there on my hard drive, I can listen to them but I can't copy them onto my Ipod because it thinks the files are still there even though they are not. Can I get some help with this?
