is there a plugins to record rating & playcount on mp3

Hi
is there a plugins that can record on the mp3 tag rating and maybe how many time i played the songs

i know winamp keep this info in his database

but can i do it?

read this thread but from your normal posts i'll keep it simple -> the situation is no or you need to find someone who will implement it for you (and all of the others)

is hard to make a plug that reads the database and stores in the tags

well it shows you've not read that thread since all of the 'issues' with implementing it are listed ie doing it consistantly across all formats without breaking functionality in other players, etc etc. find a way to deal with those issues and it is easy to implement this for someone with the time and inclination but with no standardisation for the popular file/tag formats the request is pointless as has been detailed in more depth in that thread referenced...
