play, enqueue functions partly not working

Recently, my 5.541 (on win xp, sp3) behaves strangely:

Explorer-right click on folder-'enqueue in Winamp'--> Winamp opens, no files in Playlist

Explorer-doubleclick on playlist--> Winamp opens, no files in Playlist

Winamp library-doubleclick/enter on a Playlist--> no songs in playlist

BUT

Explorer-Doubleclick on song--> works fine

library-Doubleclick on a single song in a list--> works fine

Drag-and-drop of a folder onto winamp--> works.


i cannot remember changing anything or the exact moment when this first happend.

i'm confused!!!

Any help, please?


ps. i already disabled all non-standard plugins etc., search-->no results etc.
