Minimized on open
Hi
I'd like to know ho to fix this: Winamp remembers at closing if it was minimized or not, and if i close it with right click while minimized, when i open it next time it will show up for a flash, then remembers that it should be minimized as it was when it was closed, then jumps down in the taskbar to minimized mode. The annoying in this is that i see it in this flash and try to hit the play button with the mouse, and as i bring my mouse to it, disappears and i click on nothing ![]() So what i ask basically is where is that option to tell winamp not to remember it's last state, and always start in front, not minimized. Thank You! Rudy |

As far as I know there isnt. Winamp will always remember its last state.

One of those anomalies with Winamp.
You can set the properties of a shortcut so it always opens minimized, but setting to maximized has no effect. UJ |

Hi after 3 years
![]() Found that setting in AppData\Roaming\Winamp\winamp.ini Created a windows service that looks for changed event on the file and replaces "minimized=1" with "minimized=0" If anyone has this annoyance too, mail me at: my user name at gmail.com bye |
