Winamp Stopped Burning CD's

I installed Winamp 5.541 , and it burned the first 4 CDs with no problem. Now when I try to burn (one day later), I hear a 'windows error' sound but get no error message window, and then Winamp just locks up. I have to kill thru Windows task manager. All the other features seem to be working , it's only burning that causes the error. I have checked cd drive with other apps, no problem. I am running WinXP, Lite-On DVD/CD Burner. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

The problem is your CD drive. Lite-On has a HORRIBLE reputation.

I have burned full dvd's , cd's, mp3 discs, etc, all to test the drive. No problems. It doesn't fail at the burn, I get the windows error sound as soon as I hit burn...
