Winamp saves its settings uponn closing. Rebooting/restarting the computer while Winamp is still running may prevent Winamp from saving the settings correctly. So, make sure to close Winamp before restarting/rebooting the computer.

Otherwise, do you notice other Winamp settings not saving correctly? That has been has been a reported issue with the Windows Washer cleaner application or maybe another temp file cleaner. Other information and suggested fixes about Winamp settings not being saved correctly here and/or here.

No luck or the above is not it? Please provide system & Winamp specs.

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.

You're welcome

It is one of the little quirks of Winamp. Generally it may be caused by third party plug-ins trying to save its settings and not giving Winamp enough time to close and save its default settings as the computer shuts down.
