Disabling ID3v2
Hi!
I'm listening a lot to some DVD's with music. My problem: the ID3v2 tags are all messed up while the ID3v1 tags are perfectly fine. Is it possibly to see these displayed or the original file name in the playlist? because the files are on the dvd's i can't copy the tags from v1 to v2. would be great.... thanks a lot! |

Ctrl+P (for preferences) > General Preferences > Titles....
In the 'Advanced title display format:' box change the string to $filepart(%filename%) |

Uncheck the ID3v2 reading option in the in_mp3 config. Prefs -> Plugins -> Input -> configure "Nullsodt MPEG Decoder" plugin -> ID3 tab
Remember to enable it again if you need it. [EDIT] Gah. Far too slow. Winamp ATF Reference — My cPro timer widget — My port of AVS Do NOT email me with general tech support questions. |

DJ Egg's and J_Darnley's method would just be for MP3 files, which seems to closer to what you were asking for.
My bad for not remembering that option in the MP3 plug-in.
