NSVTools doesn't require SHOUTcast DNAS

In several How To's it reads SHOUTcast DNAS is required for streaming. That's not true? For me NSVCAP in the NSVTools is enough already to go on air without any Shoutcast software on:

File > Set capture destination where you enter the shoucast server details.

> Start capture and whoo, audio and video on air.

Do I completely miss something?

File > Set capture destination where you enter the shoucast server details. shoutcast server is shoutcast DNAS ... so, you've got shoutcast DNAS, hence, meet the requirement

SHOUTcast.com defines D.N.A.S as

what i talk about is: if SHOUTCast DNAS is included in NSVTools and i don't need to install SHOUTcast if should read:

But I don't care much about that fact though.

DNAS is not included with NSVTools

you need DNAS "somewhere" ... doesn't have to be on your own PC/network ... but you you to stream TO a DNAS somewhere for others to watch the stream

technically ... nsvcap at least will stream to an UltraVox server as well - so I guess you are right, you don't NEED shoutcast
